하루동화 Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between GIUN Labs (the "Company") and users (legal guardians and children) regarding the use of the 하루동화 service (the "Service").

Article 2 (Definitions)

  1. "Service" means the AI-powered illustrated diary application for children and related features.
  2. "Legal Guardian" means the parent or guardian of a child.
  3. "Child" means a user under 14 years of age.
  4. "Account" means the unit through which the legal guardian registers and manages a child profile.

Article 3 (Effect and Changes of Terms)

  1. These Terms take effect upon explicit consent at the time of registration.
  2. Material changes will be announced in-app and emailed to the legal guardian at least 7 days in advance.
  3. If you do not agree, your use of the Service is restricted, and you may withdraw immediately.

Article 6 (Paid Service and Billing)

  1. Basic services are free. Some advanced features (AI illustrations, pet art, fairy-tale conversion, educational features) require a paid subscription (Premium).
  2. Billing follows the policies of Apple App Store / Google Play.
  3. Refunds are subject to each store's policies; the Company does not process refunds directly.
  4. Subscription management and cancellation are performed by the legal guardian in each store's settings.

Article 8 (Company Obligations)

  1. The Company will use its best efforts to provide the Service stably.
  2. The Company complies with applicable privacy laws.
  3. To protect children, the Company does not display third-party advertising.
  4. If AI analysis detects risky expressions (self-harm, abuse, etc.), the Company immediately notifies the legal guardian.

Article 9 (Service Suspension and Changes)

  1. The Company may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance and other reasons.
  2. Major changes will be announced in advance.
  3. For long suspensions caused by the Company's material fault, paid subscriptions will be refunded proportionally.

Article 10 (Nature of AI and Disclaimers)

  1. AI-generated summaries, keywords, illustrations, fairy tales, spelling and vocabulary explanations are for reference only and accuracy is not guaranteed.
  2. AI safety flags are auxiliary tools and do not replace direct observation and communication by the legal guardian.
  3. Educational and emotional judgments based on AI analysis are the responsibility of the legal guardian.

Article 11 (Withdrawal and Restrictions)

  1. The legal guardian may withdraw at any time within the app, and upon withdrawal, all data (diaries, illustrations, pets, reports) will be permanently deleted immediately.
  2. Deleted data cannot be recovered.
  3. The Company may, after prior notice, restrict use or terminate the contract for violations of these Terms.

Article 12 (Intellectual Property)

  1. Intellectual property of works within the Service (logo, UI, AI models, etc.) belongs to the Company or its providers.
  2. Copyright in the child's diary entries and uploaded photos belongs to the child (with practical permission given by the legal guardian); the Company uses such content only for providing the Service.
  3. AI-generated illustrations belong to the child's creative activities and may be freely used for personal purposes. Commercial use requires separate agreement.

Article 13 (Dispute Resolution)

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes will be brought before the court of competent jurisdiction at the Company's headquarters.

Supplementary Provisions

First effective on April 22, 2026.
